The 4th ISAIME 2023
Vol. 4 No. 1 (2023)The Indonesian Consortium of Mechanical Engineering Higher Education (BKS-TM Indonesia) organises a scientific meeting called The International Symposium on Advances and Innovation in Mechanical Engineering (ISAIME) every year. The 4th ISAIME 2023 was held on October 5, 2023, by the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Pasundan Bandung, with the theme "Improving Mechanical Engineering Human Resources and Technology Capabilities for Facing the Challenge of Industry 4.0".
The 4th ISAIME 2023 activity has displayed all the potential and progress in the industrial/business community and the mechanical engineering field, including mechanical application design, energy conversion, manufacturing process, materials engineering, and mechanical engineering education. All potentials displayed in the field of mechanical engineering must be a vehicle for the development of science and technology with an environmental perspective and the development of human resources. On this occasion, two keynote papers from the University of Technology Sydney and Université de Franche Comté, France, and 75 papers were divided into four group areas: mechanical application design, energy conversion, manufacturing processes, and materials engineering.
The holding of The 4th ISAIME 2023 event is inseparable from the sponsorship support from companies and agencies that have been established, for which we would like to express our most profound appreciation. Likewise, to all parties who have provided assistance and participation, including the paper's authors, which is a networking asset for all of us. Hopefully this meeting can continue with real work for advancing science and technology with an environmental perspective and developing human resources in mechanical engineering.

The 3rd ISAIME 2022
Vol. 3 No. 1 (2022)The International Symposium on Advances and Innovation in Mechanical Engineering (ISAIME) is an international conference initiated by the Mechanical Engineering Cooperation Agency (BKSTM), the Indonesian National Organization of Mechanical Engineering. The 3rd ISAIME in 2022 was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, and was held in Makassar, Indonesia, on October 13, 2022. The conference is an invaluable opportunity for academics and researchers to present and publish their works on advances in mechanical engineering and technology; the ISAIME conference has three broad topics: energy, advanced materials, and design and applied mechanics. On this occasion, four prominent keynote speakers and oral presentations by participants brought great opportunities for sharing their latest research and knowledge work. The peer review committee tirelessly delivers constructive critical comments to the authors to improve the papers' quality. We are very grateful to the keynote speakers, reviewers, advisory committee, session chairs, and all authors for their active participation and major contributions to the success of this conference. We would also like to thank the organizing team members for their hard work.

The 1st ISAIME 2019
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2019)International Symposium on Advances and Innovations in Mechanical Engineering (ISAIME) is the first international symposium initiated by Badan Kerja Sama Teknik Mesin (BKSTM), Indonesian national organization on mechanical engineering. The symposium was hosted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Trisakti, Indonesia and held on 9 – 10 October 2019 in Aston Grogol Hotel Jakarta and Trisakti campus, Jakarta, Indonesia. This symposium is to accommodate the eagerness of researchers, lecturers, and students to publish the results of their research at a reputable international seminar. BKSTM holds an annual national seminar called Seminar Nasional Tahunan Teknik Mesin (SNTTM), an annual national seminar on mechanical engineering which takes place at different BKSTM member universities. ISAIME was held in conjunction with SNTTM XVIII 2019. The theme for ISAIME is “Advancing in Mechanical Engineering Innovations for Sustainable Development”. The event is bringing together researchers, scientists, and engineers from academia and industry to present and exchange ideas with a focus on the advancement of mechanical engineering and technologies.
